What is breast hypertrophy?
Breast hypertrophy is a medical condition characterized by excessively large breasts. It is divided into macromastia and gigantomastia based on severity. Gigantomastia describes cases with more than 2.5 kg of excess breast tissue. The most common indication for breast reduction surgery is chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain.
