What are the advantages and disadvantages of saline vs. silicone implants?

Silicone gel implants are softer, more natural, and feel more like a woman's natural breast, and have less chance of firmness. However, silent ruptures of silicone implants are not always picked up on a mammogram, and often an MRI is needed. Saline implants have the advantage of using smaller incisions, and the biggest advantage for most women is peace of mind because the body can easily get rid of the saline if there is a leak or rupture. A disadvantage of saline implants is that you wake up one day with a flat tire compared to a slow leak.
