Recovery from eyelid surgery generally takes 1-2 weeks. The incision for an upper eyelid lift is hidden along the crease and is often not visible from a normal viewing distance even one week post-op. Sutures are removed one week post-surgery. Initially, the incision area may look a bit full, but this will settle down and the incision is expected to disappear as it continues to heal.
