Dr. Jumaily utilizes technologies like Morpheus 8 and Circuit RF for skin resurfacing, which involve small needles heating the epidermis and dermis. For significantly more tightening power, he uses FaceTite, which employs a much deeper radiofrequency penetration to shrink septa underneath the skin. Morpheus 8 and Circuit RF are more superficial compared to FaceTite's deeper action.

After rhinoplasty, some patients are asked to tape their nose for about a month to help minimize swelling and scar tissue. You'll need paper tape (white or brown) and scissors. Apply short pieces of tape with a fair amount of pressure, overlapping slightly, ensuring the tape sinks into the skin. A longer piece goes over the nasal tip, leaving the very tip exposed. The final long piece starts at the bottom of the tip for support, can be pinched, and cut for comfort, secured with a small top piece. This process might cause a little pain initially due to the pressure. When removing, get the tape wet (e.g., in the shower) to loosen the adhesive, and remove very gently to avoid pulling the skin. You can remove the tape when going out and reapply it when home or at night.

Repairing a perforated nasal septum is considered one of the more difficult procedures in rhinoplasty. Dr. Jumaily uses advanced techniques, including adding cartilage in multiple layers, to help close the perforation. The success rate, which averages 50-70%, varies by patient and depends on factors like the perforation's size and the area's blood supply. Smaller perforations are more likely to close successfully, while larger ones are very difficult to repair without a highly invasive procedure.

Dr. Jumaily often combines procedures like forehead reduction, brow lifts, and lip lifts to achieve better proportion and overall facial harmony. For example, a forehead reduction can balance a forehead that feels out of proportion, a brow lift addresses heaviness or hooding in the brow, and a lip lift can correct upper lip length. These combined procedures are expected to result in a younger appearance, an improved pout, and more balanced forehead and brows.
