What are the risks and safety considerations for BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine injected into muscles to temporarily improve moderate to severe forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines. While FDA approved, effects may spread hours to weeks after injection, potentially causing serious symptoms like difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness, which require immediate medical attention.
