Morpheus8 is FDA-approved for deep tissue remodeling. Dr. Z maintains muscle mass by eating more protein and watching their carbohydrate intake. They drink Premier Protein shakes, which contain 30 grams of protein and one carb. On workout days, they drink three Premier Protein shakes, providing 90 grams of protein. They also eat chicken bites from Costco, which contain 21 grams of protein, even sometimes in the morning.

Dr. Z uses Nail Envy by OPI to keep their nails strong. They lightly file down ridges on their nails, then apply two coats of Nail Envy every Monday, another coat two days later, and another coat two days after that. They wipe off the Nail Envy the following Monday and repeat the process. Upneeq is an eyedrop that opens the eye by reducing eyelid closure. It stimulates the muscle that opens the eye and whitens the sclera (white part of the eye). Upneeq can brighten eye color and lasts for hours. Dr. Z uses it for events or pictures to make their eye look brighter and whiter. Botox lifts the eyebrow, but Upneeq lifts the eyelid, providing a more awake opened eye.

Dr. Z extracts milia, which are small white bumps, using an 11 blade to gently open the top of the milia. They then use cotton swabs to squeeze out the contents of the milia after unroofing them. Using tretinoin or Retin-A should prevent the milia from recurring, or at least reduce their recurrence.

During rhinophyma laser surgery, Dr. Z gradually reduces the rhinophyma to achieve a normal nose shape, using old photos as a reference to match the original nose shape. The laser ablates the tissue, turning it into smoke that is removed by a smoke evacuator. The surgery takes approximately three hours and results in a new nose.

The filler used is a reversible hyaluronic acid filler, which is a long-chain sugar molecule that is slowly broken down over time. Filler in the temple lasts a long time, usually a couple of years. Patients should eat soft foods for 24 hours after the procedure.

Trapezius botox (trap tox) involves injecting relaxant “Dysport/Botox” into the trapezius muscle to induce muscle atrophy, creating the appearance of a more elongated neck. It is performed for slimming or elongation of the neck in women, and for pain and spasm. The treatment also improves posture and reduces muscle pain and tension. It takes about a week to 10-14 days to kick in and lasts for three months. Dr. Z recommends 40 to 50 units per side, done every 3 months for best results.
