Questions, Answers, and Information Directly from Dr. Ali Sajjadian

Sourced directly from Dr. Ali Sajjadian's social posts and replies.

What are the three categories of ear surgery (otoplasty)?
The three categories of ear surgery address: 1) ears brought forward by excessive cartilage in the conchal bowl, 2) lack of antihelix (corrected with masterly mattress sutures), and 3) ears that are too far off due to angulation (corrected with semi-permanent sutures placed into the mastoid fascia). Combining all three techniques can create a smaller, less angulated ear with structure.
What is the otoplasty procedure like?
Otoplasty typically takes around two hours and is usually done under local anesthesia. A small incision is made behind the ear, and the cartilage is reshaped. A headband is worn for a few weeks after otoplasty to support healing.
What is Masseter Botox and how does it help with TMJ?
Masseter Botox involves injecting small amounts of solution into the jaw area. This helps to relax the muscles and reduce tension, which can alleviate TMJ pain. The results can last for several months. It is a non-invasive treatment option that doesn't require any downtime, allowing you to return to your normal routine right away.
What is non-surgical rhinoplasty and who is it best for?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as filler rhinoplasty, is best for people with a local hump. We recommend using only hyaluronic acid for non-surgical rhinoplasty. It must be done by an expert. Less filler is better. It offers minimal downtime and is reversible.
What are the benefits of chin filler?
Chin filler can bring the chin forward, make the entire face more oval, make the chin area pointy or round, and make the chin elongated and pointier. It can accentuate facial harmony, enhance facial symmetry, project strength and authority, refine contours, create a masculine and chiseled appearance, balance facial proportions, and refine overall appearance.
What type of filler does the practice use for chin augmentation?
We use a long-lasting type of hyaluronic acid filler called gluma.
What are the benefits of buccal fat removal?
Buccal fat removal targets excess facial fat in the lower cheek area, resulting in a more sculpted appearance and accentuated cheekbones. It contributes to the overall balance of facial proportions, laying the foundation for a defined jawline. It can create better definition in the face and makes you look more chilled out.
What are the benefits of PRP for hair loss?
PRP addresses the root cause of hair loss, promoting long-lasting results. It triggers natural hair regeneration, leading to thicker, fuller hair over time. PRP improves hair texture, strength, and overall scalp health, providing a comprehensive solution to hair loss concerns. It is a safe and minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime.
